The partnership established last year between Vaud-based cheap replica watchmaking brand Hublot and the Vaud Wines Office has produced a special vintage on behalf of the Manufacture. For 2015, “Dézaley de L’Evêque” 2014, Dézaley Grand Cru AOC, was the wine selected in a blind taste test by the panel of judges.
The partnership between the Hublot Manufacture and the Vaud Wines Office (OVV), which began in 2014, covers many aspects. One of its strengths is the production of 1000 bottles of a special vintage wine. After intense debate, the panel announced their verdict: the “Dézaley de L’Evêque” 2014, Dézaley Grand Cru AOC, wine produced by Patrick Fonjallaz was selected for 2015. Once it bears the manufacture’s colours, the chosen wine will be served to fans of the watchmaking brand in Switzerland and abroad. In the wake of La Côte and Chablais in 2014, this second selection highlighted the Dézaley Grand Cru appellation, known for its steep slopes and terraced vineyards.
Some might be tempted to describe the partnership as a marriage of ‘chalk and cheese’… But although a best Hublot replica watches and a Vaud vintage wine do not appear to have much in common at first glance, on closer inspection, there are many similarities. They are born from a skilful blend of precision, tradition and creativity. They both demonstrate an unquenchable thirst for true perfection. In both cases, their customers are connoisseurs who demand the highest quality, reliability and authenticity. Finally, just as Hublot experiments with brand new materials and the latest alloys, Vaud wine-growers are always seeking out new grape varieties or the latest blends, all without compromising their deeply-held values. It was therefore only natural that the two companies should join forces to capitalise on the potential synergies.

Jean-Claude Biver, President of Hublot and the LVMH Watch Division, is delighted to have formalised this relationship through the partnership with the OVV. As the only watchmaking manufacture based in the La Côte region, surrounded by vines and deeply rooted in Swiss values, tradition, quality and products, it was only natural that Hublot should become a privileged partner of Vaud wines, enabling them to capitalise on the full force of the Swiss fake watchmaking brand’s international marketing.
The panel of wine tasters, representing the manufacture and wine specialists in equal numbers, scrutinised many wines with the Dézaley Grand Cru appellation. There was one clear winner for Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, “The golden hue of the wine, its freshness and its fruity flavour give this “Dézaley de L’Evêque” 2014, Dézaley Grand Cru AOC, an extraordinary complexity. I can’t wait to share this wine with our customers.”
The panel of wine tasters included:
